Is this a VS Add-In and/or TFS add-in?

Does this simply install as a VS add-in without touching TFS setup or does this have to be run on the TFS server as well?

Will it work using VSTS 2008 connecting to TFS 2005 server?

Hi - There is a work item type that needs to be uploaded to each Team Project in TFS that you'd like to use with TeamReview. To do this the first time you will need to be a TFS Administrator. Then each developer installs the TeamReview VS Addin. It will work with all 2005, 2008, 2010 combinations of VSTS and TFS, just be sure to install the correct AddIn version(s).

Thanks for trying TeamReview,

So it's an upload to TFS, not an install per say?

Correct.

I am administrator for my project but not a TFS adinistrator. Can I upload this just for my project? How to do that?

The first time a work item type is uploaded tfs admin (or collection in 2010) permissions are needed, after that only project admin perms are necessary. In either case a specific project is specified as the target of the upload, thus only affecting that project.

For 2005/2008 use witimport.exe
For 2010 use witadmin.exe
